Spiritual Warfare Stakes!
Every stake has these 16 verses on them:
Genesis 1:1, 2 Samuel 22:3, Luke 4:10, Psalm 7:1, Psalm 7:10, Nehemiah 4:9, Job 1:10, Proverbs 30:5, Mark 6:20, 1 Peter 1:5, Ezra 8:21-22, Jeremiah 1:8, Acts 26:22, Job 11:18,
Matthew 26:53, John 17:11, Isaiah 33:21.
God’s Word is still powerful. Markers on the land were practiced all through the Bible, including blood on the doorpost, altars, and piles of stones. Circumcision was a mark on the people, and baptism is spiritual circumcision (Colossians 2), so God is still marking His people. Satan has taken the land, and he wants the 10 commandments removed. Let’s mark it off and take it back—one house at a time.
Put this in your purse, under the seats of your vehicle, and in the corners of your apartment or motel room, and bury them deep on the corners of your property and at the corners of every structure—including your business. Put them around your church, your school and your courthouse.
God is not the great, “I Used To Could.” He is the great, “I AM.”
Each Package has 4 Spiritual Warfare Stakes
Stake Procedure:
In Greek, the word for “cross” actually means “stake.” In fact, in the CJB version of Scripture (Complete Jewish Bible), it states that they hung Jesus on His “execution-stake.” So when you stake out your land, you are putting a symbol of the device used to orchestrate your salvation. Add the Word of God to those same stakes, and you have a powerful symbol of your covenant connection to God surrounding you, your family, and your possessions.
Jews were commanded to practice this procedure (Deuteronomy 6) of putting God’s Word on their bodies and property, including gates and doorposts. Gates and doors protect your family, but God’s Word protects better.
Staking the land is also a prophetic act. It forsees a future when goodness and righteousness rules the lad rather than evil and disobedience. It involves setting aside an area as dedicated to the Lord, and declaring that Jesus has dominion of it.
There is no magic in a stake—whether you use these unique one or make your own. But there is great power in the Word of God. He spoke everything into existence (Genesis 1.1), and it still exists by His power.
Baptism is the public symbol of your connection to God, so, for best results, be baptized for the remission of your sins prior to staking. However, you can put these around the property of others you love and be their “Abraham,” by having faith in God’s Word for these other folks. Amazing results have been reported from some, so don’t rule out this option for a disobedient relative who is living in sin or rebellion.
Before you begin, it’s good to confess out loud, “Jesus Is Lord.” He is the only way to God, and thus the only way to obtaining God’s protection and safety. Repent of any unconfessed sin, forgive all others who have wronged you (whether they have asked for it or not), and this symbolic gesture using stakes can have awesome results.
There are 16 verses on each stake. These focus on God’s promise to protect His people. Read these out loud together during or immediately following the placing of them around an area. Then pray together, inviting Jesus & the Holy Spirit to rule the area, renouncing any curses or evil that has ever occurred on the property.
Put the stakes all the way in the ground. This is not for show or for a public spectacle, but rather a private gesture of commitment and promise to turn from any past evil practices. (Stakes may also stand in the corners of an apartment, a bedroom, a hotel, etc. Some also put them in purses, backpacks, under seats in vehicles, etc.) If you stake a larger piece of property, it’s best to stake out each building separately, and then the property as a whole.
When possible, unite Christians from many churches in your community to stake out your city or county. God’s Word is powerful.
The woman in VERSE with the issue of blood for 12 years was supposed to be yelling “unclean” to those around her, and it was actually disobedient of her not to. In addition, there was no command or example of anyone ever touching the hem of their Rabbi’s garment to receive healing. Yet it worked. Why? Because she acted on her faith. Staking is also an act of faith. It releases faith somehow and announces to the unseen world that this is now holy ground, dedicated to God and for His service from now on.
Some say that after staking a home, conditions worsen. If this is the case for you, immediately pray for God to reveal anything that is present on the property that dishonors Him, and commit yourself to destroying it when God reveals it to you. Repeat this procedure until conditions improve.
Finally, I want to mention something very important to do once the property is committed to God and all cleaned up. Perhaps a football metaphor will help me best communicate this: In football, you must focus on the basics to win any game. This means block and tackle. In Christianity, you must continue with four basics: read the Bible, pray, go to church, and tithe. (Read Malachi 3 if you doubt the last one.)
Be creative with additions that God prompts you to do. Some make staking out their business or church building an event that all participate in. Others do it quietly (be sure as least one other person is involved). Some write names on the stakes they place. Some write their issues on the stakes (“no more depression here,” etc.). Others invite witnesses to the staking and give extra stakes to them as memorials. Go where God leads, and glorify Him throughout the process.
Questions or comments are welcome. God bless you in your staking ceremony.
